Effects of the lemon water detox
Lemon juice consumed on an empty stomach in lukewarm water will tone the liver by stimulating the production of enzymes and bile, thus generating a “liver flush” and purifying the blood in the process. This disengagement produced on the liver in the early morning will naturally boost the function of the kidneys. Liver and Kidneys are the two most efficient emunctories to detoxify the body, their solicitation by the lemon juice cure will have a positive impact on the 3 other emunctories organs which are the lungs, the intestines and the skin and thus generate a global detoxification!

How to make lemon water detox
Juice of half a squeezed organic lemon (or a whole one depending on the size) to be added to 20 to 25 cl of lukewarm water (be careful not to use hot water over 40° which would destroy certain temperature sensitive nutrients)
To be prepared and drunk in the morning on an empty stomach. Wait ½ hour before having breakfast or drinking coffee or tea.
Cure of 21 days to be renewed if necessary.
It is possible for an “attack” cure to drink this preparation twice a day, but always at a distance of ½ hour from the meal.
The 1st benefits are generally felt from the first days (vitality, digestion, satiety…)
You can add:
Honey: ½ teaspoon of honey to limit the acidity of the lemon juice
Spices: you can grate spices such as turmeric, ginger, cinnamon for their various health benefits.
If the detox is not enough
If the detox is not enough for the detoxification of the body, you can couple it with desmodium. Indeed, this plant is a must for the liver and allows to detoxify gently.
Some people do not tolerate this lemon-water cure well. In fact, for very acidic people and fragile people (convalescents, seniors), this cure is not recommended.
